Turn Lane Improvements at Hwy 5 & 41

Highway 5 Victoria project rolls on…construction update from MnDOT for Hwy 5/Hwy 41 intersection

Heads up-Two right turn lanes will be closing on highway 5 and Highway 41 in Chanhassen beginning Friday, July 20.

The right turn lane from south Highway 41 to west Highway 5 and the right turn lane from east Highway 5 to south Highway 41 will close beginning at 9 a.m. that day. The closure is expected to last approximately 2 weeks.

***This will only effect travelers who are heading to the MN Landscape Arboretum since Hwy 5 West of 41 is only open to the Arboretum Entrance.***

A MnDOT detour to get around these closures will send you to County Road 17/Powers Boulevard and County Road 18/Lyman Boulevard to access both Highway 41 and Highway 5. If you aren’t driving a semi-trailer you can also use Century Blvd. South of Hwy 5 to get to Hwy 41.
