Waconia (stand-in), Victoria and Chanhassen mayors cut the ribbon
The City of Victoria held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Hwy 5 on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Local, County and State officials were in attendance as well as local media to capture the excitement over the completion of Hwy 5. The Mayor thanked city staff, government officials, the residents, contractors, MnDOT, the business community and organizations and volunteers.
Cake, Ice Cream and Lemonade was served afterwards and the community was invited to celebrate ON HWY 5 before the official opening, scheduled for Friday, August 31.
